It all started when it was time to apply our 20 plus years of experience and open a small place of our own. Well, the rest is.... What can we say? It has been quite a ride and of course some questions are why? we being of Portuguese heritage don't have Portuguese food? We do have some Vinho Verde but frankly, we've been fascinated with the American Steak House concept for a long time, and we just wanted to impart a European-Continental flavor to it and we hope that we've succeeded. On the other hand ,we are incredibly proud of our Heritage and we do visit the homeland as often as we can. Actually ,we have a great link for all of you that would like to see what Porto, Portugal is all about,in particular the Old Town ( Ribeira ) part of Porto, Jose Paulo Andrade an incredibly gifted photographer and the most amazing Slide Shown of the Ribeira, Porto. ( where I still have a residence... ) Let me save you the trip and click here.Sit back and enjoy the ride. This area of Porto is very very old, anywhere between 200 to 500 years old and more and is being protected by the UNESCO, as a " World Historic Patrimony .One day we want to have a Magellan's Restaurant over there.......
